Day 22: 3.5 mile run through Glenmore Reservoir with a double wedgie

YAHOO! We did it – 3.5 mile run early this morning and it was terrific! We added a new lady to the group runs (hence the double wedgie);  we had a great pace and we did a hill about 3/4 of the way through the run. It was a nice morning, very busy on the trail and of course, I continued with my “Project Morning.” To be honest, most people were fairly cheery (I think a lot of them were from the Glenmore Landing Running Room.) At any rate, it was nice to see some pleasant faces 🙂

There were no bear sightings today, but we did see some horse shit (Andrea joked it was bear poop… not funny!)

Our run was great and we were very steady the whole time.

Major, major kudos to Andrea who up until this point was putting in about 30 minutes of running, and today she smashed that time – way to go pal! Of course, to Sue, I don’t know how you possibly did the run today after drinking a whole bottle of Dom last night. Youse is crazy! And last but not least, our pal Amy ran a 10k this morning all the way across the country in Cape Breton. Way to go!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for a great run, gals! Looking forward to next week already!!!!

Here are todays stats:

  • Distance: 5.6km
  • Time: 38:17
  • Pace/km: 6:50
  • Best Pace: 5:18
